Mental Health Does Not Shelter In Place
It's been estimated that 56.7% of people living with behavioral health needs are not receiving treatment. Whether or not we have been ordered to shelter in place, mental health issues, now exacerbated by the anxiety and fear of COVID-19, are more prevalent than ever. Getting help is more challenging, also adding to anxiety and stress. Learn how many therapists are continuing to provide therapy as well as ways in which people can access help. We will also touch upon ways to help with stress and anxiety; talking to your kids; and resources.
The West Coast Chamber has teamed up with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Sarah Lewakowski, MA, LLP, executive director of Mosaic Counseling to help us get us all through this.
