Learn How to “Fustini-fy” Your Fresh Market Finds at the
Holland Farmers Market Chef Series This Saturday

Executive Chef Andy Stewart from Fustini’s of Holland will return to the Chef Series at the Holland Farmers Market this Saturday, June 8 at 10:00 am. Stewart will demonstrate how to use Fustini’s unique line of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars to prepare pan-roasted asparagus, truffled asparagus crostini and a mouth-watering grilled salmon. The Chef Series is proudly sponsored by Higher Health Chiropractic with in-kind support from Visser Farms.

Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Stewart has over 35 years of experience in dining and food service. Stewart comes to Fustini’s from a private fine dining club in Kalamazoo, having previously worked in New York City and in kitchens throughout the state of Michigan. Trained primarily in French and Italian cuisines, Stewart enjoys working with Fustini’s high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars and teaching others to do the same through weekly hands-on cooking classes at their Downtown Holland location. He loves the quality and variety Fustini’s brings to the kitchen and is confident that Chef Series audiences will too.

Each week during the Chef Series at the Holland Farmers Market, a talented local chef, caterer or Market vendor demonstrates how to prepare an easy, healthy and delicious meal using fresh Market ingredients. The Chef Series is held at 10:00 am every Saturday through August 31 and is free to attend. Recipes are available at the demonstration and will also be posted online at www.hollandfarmersmarket.com the week following the demonstration.
