    There is currently one (1) Vacancy for a citizen representative on the Taskforce. The preferred candidate will have public service experience, advocacy experience, or a history of

    serving underserved populations within the City; though applicants from all walks and industries will be considered. The role of the Citizen representative is to provide a user perspective during discussion on the future of the City’s Solid Waste & Recycling Program as well as provide insight into engaging with residents. There is a residency requirement for this position.

    This person will serve an integral role in shaping the future of Recycling & Landfill diversion practices for the City of Holland.

    The nine (9) member Materials Management Taskforce was appointed by the City’s Sustainability Committee (SusCom) to act in an advisory capacity on the opportunities and challenges facing the community in implementing successful landfill diversion practices.

    The Taskforce will serve a minimum of one year, not to exceed two without re-authorization by SusCom after two years.

    This position will be open until filled.
